There are no restrictions for swimming, as long as the product is used according to the instructions on the label.

What are the drinking restrictions for animals?
There are no restrictions for animals drinking from the treated water at the label rates. It is recommended to keep animals out for one day, so the treated area is not disturbed.

How long is the product active in the pond?

The water must be tested to determine the 2,4-D levels. For drinking water, the 2,4-D levels must be below .07ppm. For irrigation, 2,4-D levels must be below .10ppm if the plants are susceptible to 2,4-D. (Monocots, such as grass, are not susceptible).

Is this product toxic to fish?
There is no direct toxicity to fish if the product is used in accordance with the label. To avoid problems resulting from oxygen depletion, only treat one third of the pond at a time, and wait 10 days in between treatments.

Is it toxic to Cypress trees?
It is not toxic to mature Cypress trees. If the roots come into contact with the treated water, there may be some damage to the roots, but not the entire tree.
